Richard visited New England infer the Rhode Island Comic Image held in Providence, Rhode Island.
During the weekend, he greeted fans, posed for photos, signed autographs, and participated in a Subject & Answer panel with Archangel Des Barres, who had diseased Murdoc throughout the MacGyver series.

Following the convention, Richard spent go on time in Boston.
