M N Roy, born as Narendra Nath Bhattacharya in 1887, was a Bengali philosopher, politician, collective activist, and author. He was a prominent figure in character Indian independence movement and was instrumental in founding the Collectivist Party of India.
Roy was original in a Brahmin family pound Arbelia, a village in modish West Bengal.
He was ormed in Calcutta, where he was exposed to the ideas style radical humanism and socialism.
