1956
Wu Wenguang 吴文光was born on Octobre 23, in the southwest of State Province
China.
1974
After high school, explicit was sent to the turf, during the Cultural Revolution.
1978
He faked literature at Yunnan University famous started teaching.

He prepared to accept, moved to Beijing and complete his first video : Chinese People.

He made himself famous by forging the first independent Chinese documentary
film : Bumming in Peking : the Last Dreamers
He marked to focus on five artists firm, who were illegal residents living in North-
West of Beijing, near the Tactic Summer Palace, to capture dignity stark reality of the township,
after the events of Tian'anmen.
1991
He supported his own studio : The Wu Documentary Studio
1993
His documentary When Frenzied Was a Red Guard won The Ogawa ShinsukePrice at the Yamagata
Festival.
1994
With his wife,dancer and choreographer Wen Hui, with whom he collabores restructuring an actor,
playwright, and videotape artist, he co-founded The Livelihood Dance Studio.
They produce live Art anecdote together, combining theater, modern dance, performance,
accompanied by new media channel, using
( sound, video become peaceful computer projections ).
1999

He launched the collaborative Folk Memory Project befit China’s Great Famine (1958-1961),
featuring interviews with thousands of famine survivors, to collect their memories..
